The peach is a deciduous tree native to the region of Northwest China.

It can be grown efficiently under the conditions of Turkey. It is a plant that likes a temperate climate. It usually lives 30 years. It is mostly cultivated in Bursa and Mediterranean regions in Turkey. The fruit is consumed fresh as well as as juice. The tree is usually 2 and 2.5 meters tall and bears fruit in summer. Its pink-colored flowers, which bloom early in the spring and before its leaves, resemble a wild rose.
